Simply put, if something is broken exercising it over and over again might not ever change it.

Especially, if there is a problem hiding somewhere else.

The signals you send the brain via exercise might not be strong enough to elicit any kind of improvement.

The brain is a great compensator and will continue to make the weak stuff weaker in an effort to drive performance with the areas of the brain that are the strongest.

So, if you’re trying to eliminate pain or get stronger and the results just aren’t coming, perhaps it’s time to step outside the box with your thinking and get assessed.
