A seemingly simple but powerful exercise for improving balance!
- Find a safe but challenging position. You should be working hard but not falling over.
- Use your thumb or a pen as your target and make sure it’s centered in front of you.
- Make small yes/yes no/no head motions while keeping your eyes fixated on your target.
Try 6 Reps of each and progress or regress your stance accordingly.
Safety Cues: if you have serious balance issues already you can try it seated. If exercise ever creates symptoms of vertigo, lightheadedness, headaches or any other strange response, this is not for you!
